I’m slowly showing my personality more, it’s important for me to do that as I move forward with my music. I’ve held back in the past because I’m a little self conscious about my ways. I was bullied at primary school when I was around 6, it got so bad i stopped talking and had to change schools. I wonder sometimes If I may be neurodivergant. Aswell, and I know alot of artists feel this, fragile little sparrows that we are, when we show ourselves and our personalities in the stark light of day, we feel as though people might be disappointed in some way, that the mystery is taken out of the music.
Assuming anyone actually fucking cares. I’ve not left the house for 2 months I’m abit all over the shop.

Thank you to all who have shown Black Wig the love. I’ve been truly surprised, touched and invigorated by the response. Someone described it as Baroque & Roll and I’ve put that in my bio online. It’s literally perfect.
It’s scary putting yourself out there, i forgot how scary it actually is. But now I’ve got one song under my belt I’m gonna go for it this year, foot is healing and the songs are cooking. get the kettle on!

Wow Ren, that’s some single! And the video is totally nuts - I love it! It’s a mini Gothic masterpiece, with echoes of Kate Bush & Siouxsie Sioux but absolutely you. After the You tube vid, your live renditions of You Only Live Twice and Nobody Does it Better with full orchestra popped up - not seen those in years; is there nothing you can’t sing? Amazing range. Can’t wait to see u live again so keep healing and getting that fresh air, with or without the bonnet.
