Happy New Year!
Good evening to you on this blistering cold Sunday. I hope you had a restful Christmas and New Year. I’m coming to you from the studio having a little tea break and thought I’d share a playlist I made this morning of recent finds I really love. I’ve been making some changes in my life the last few months and I think the tunes reflect that. I don’t know about you but 2022 was a weird year, I had lots of ups and downs but all in all it was very illuminating. I’ve had a bit of a rest these last few weeks and I feel much clearer, calmer and happier. I’m back in the studio and listening to my new songs and I feel like I’m exactly where I need to be, which is a very new feeling for me. I can’t wait for you all to them. I’ll be bringing you some news soon regarding some interesting ventures, stay tuned..
In there meantime check out these songs, they are so gorgeous….the feeling they conjure up is a quiet power, eerie beauty, hopefulness, a stillness and childlike wonder. The song ‘Wild Eye’s’ by Mariee Sioux made me cry this morning.
